I grew up in Dunedin and completed my medical degree through the University of Otago. I worked at Nelson Hospital in a variety of roles before embarking on general practice training. I particularly enjoy the continuity of care and variety that General Practice offers. Family life balances out the relatively organised nature of work and on days off I can be found at the playground or outdoors with my family and running in my spare time

Dr Sam Haslam is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Wednesday and Fridays Dr Sam starts his consultations at 7.30am for his patients that need an appointment before work or school commitments.

Sarah offers Full Skin Checks (allow 30mins) and spot checks (up to 3 spots/lesions, allow 15mins)

Sarah also provides surgical services such as biopsies and excisions of appropriate lesions

Dr Sarah Richards is available Mondays (usually skin/spot checks) Wednesday mornings (usually surgical services).

I grew up in Nelson but left to study through the University of Otago. After training in various hospitals in the South Island, I returned home and worked as a junior doctor in Nelson Hospital before embarking on GP training.
As a GP I hope to provide care to patients with empathy and clear communication.
I like to spend my down time trying to tame my garden and exploring our beautiful wilderness with my husband and 2 kids.

Dr Charlotte Bonny is available Thursdays and Fridays.

I grew up in Christchurch and studied at the University of Otago. Richard and I moved to Nelson for GP training back in 2016 and fell in love with the place and stayed.

I am passionate about woman's health and quality contraceptive care. I enjoy seeing people of all ages and stages of life and working with them on their health journey. I am also a forensic medical examiner.

When not at work I can be found in the hills or out on the kayak with my family

Dr Nicola van Gelder-Horgan is available Tuesday morning, Wednesday and Thursday all day and Friday morning.
